How soon do I need to apply this product before a pain sensitive procedure?

Apply to clean, dry skin at least 60 minutes before your session to help numb pain receptors before appointment. Wipe clean right before procedure.

Ordered the Numbing Cream in anticipation of a large back piece appointment that I had coming up and my order came in on time. I used as directed and wow! I hardly felt a thing during my whole 4 hour session. I actually giggled during the beginning while my artist worked on a painful area, it tickled! I’m completely SOLD on Mad Rabbit products and am planning on ordering several items from their line of Tattoo Creams.

An unfortunate flop

My partner uses MR products and swears by them - specifically their aftercare. Unfortunately, the numbing cream was not great. I applied it two hours before, applied two coats, and felt everything. If I shop here again, it will be for aftercare products only.

Not for me

I tried it out the day prior to my appointment to see how it felt and it didn’t do anything. The day of my appointment, I put much, much more product on thinking I hadn’t used enough the day before. It still didn’t do anything and I felt every minute of my tattoo. I use the balm and love it but was disappointed in this.

Numbing power

I used the cream recently for a tattoo, I put a lot on and let it sit like 3 hours before receiving it. There were certain areas that were calm and others that I still felt, but I guess that would have been worse if I had not used anything. So I guess the jury is still out
