I love the actual consistency of the formula, but as someone who has sensitive skin (and I know this is partially my own fault for not looking close enough at the ingredients) but this should not be advertised as good for “all” skin types. There being bother retinol AND vitamin C made it very irritating for my skin even the areas around the tattoo that the skin wasn’t compromised but it got rubbed on really irritated my skin. So be careful if you have sensitive skin with this product.

I have been using this product the last few days and I have to say this is by far the best sent that mad rabbit has used yet. I love all their products but this I think is my favorite.
Product 10/10. You only need a tiny amount and rub it in completely, or it’s sticky. Love it for RIGHT after you take the wrap off, or during the first few days of healing. Then move to a butter. HATE the squeeze cap. Way too much sploots out. I unscrew it and take right from the bottle.
Works and smells amazing. Only complaint is the size of the tin it comes in. Would like it to be just a little bigger.
This balm is so smooth and buttery and is keeping my tattoo as gorgeous as the day I got it! I love the tangerine vanilla scent; it smells like orange sherbet. It’s great for dry elbows too!
I absolutely love using this stuff after tattoos helps the healing and doesn’t make it feel the sting really afterwards either
I bought my first bottle in October, I just ordered 2 more, so that puts me at 5 purchased since then.
My husband and I are at the point where we can afford getting the tattoos of our dreams. He's working on a leg sleeve and I'm going the non-traditional route for a woman and getting a face tattoo. Just kidding, it's a back sleeve! When I booked my first tattoo appointment, I searched for a aftercare product that would not be jelly like and sticky. This is perfect.
It soaks in pretty quickly (a little goes a long way) and the small bit of residue doesn't stain my clothes or sheets. Plus it feels really good! It soothes the burn and the itch!
My only warning is that it does initially sting a bit if your tat is under 48 hours old. It's a small price to pay for keeping the colors bright and the line work sharp on my tattoos!
